Restorative Yoga is a receptive, rather than an active practice.  It creates a sense of calm, with deep openings and releases.  This is achieved by supporting the body with bolsters, blocks, blanketss, and straps.

By feeling safe and supported, we can feel deep release and total surrender.  It restores the body and the soul.
